Recording of 60 min Slow Poses practice from 7/4/2025. This month we are exploring Sacred Rhythms, this week working with daily rhythms and exploring Yoga Sutra 1.14 where Patanjali teaches us about Dirgha (complete, long, or extended) Kala (time or rhythm). Dirgha Kala = Long time or Long Rhythm.Â
Physically we're working on creating space within the hips, promoting gentle twists, and gently opening the heart.
This practice incorporates yin like holds. Postures are held for about 2-5 min in order to get into the connective tissues within the body.
